YouTube will start hiding dislike counts on all videos across the platform

Before this time, YouTube started experimenting with hiding the dislike counts on vids to help reduce the dislike attacks on generators across the platform, and after analysis in July, YouTube did see a reduction in that geste, so the company has blazoned it’ll start hiding the dislike counts on all the vids across its platform. 

 But that does not mean you will not be suitable to dislike a videotape since the dislike button is not going anywhere, and you can still use it to tune the recommendations. It’s just that the number of dislikes a videotape gets will now be private to generators who can pierce it in the YouTube Studio. 

The dislike count on YouTube vids will no longer be intimately visible 

YouTube says that by hiding the dislike count, it wants to” produce an inclusive and regardful terrain where generators have the occasion to succeed and feel safe to express themselves,”and that this is just one of the numerous way the platform is taking to cover the generators- especially the lower bones-from importunity. 

While that is a valid reason, one might argue that dislike counts on a videotape are useful since they help observers determine if the videotape’s worth watching. Still, YouTube says that its exploration did not find any conspicuous difference in the viewership anyhow of whether or not druggies could see the dislike counts.

The most disliked videotape on YouTube right now is YouTube’s Rewind 2018, having 3 million likes and a whopping 19 million dislikes. But it will not be too long until those figures go private since YouTube has started gradationally hiding the dislike counts across the platform.
