Singapore’s health ministry on Saturday blazoned the resumption of trip for India and certain other countries, including Pakistan and Bangladesh, from 26 October.
“ All trippers with a 14- day trip history to Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka previous to departure to Singapore will be allowed to enter and conveyance through Singapore from11.59 pm on Oct 26,”Singapore’s Strait Times quoted its health ministry.

Addressing a virtual press conference, health minister Ong Ye Kung said the situation in these countries has stabilised for some time.
“There’s no longer a need for strict rules that help trippers from these countries from wharf then,”the Woe Times quoted Ong as saying.
Before, Singapore had allowed completely-vaccinated trippers from 15 further countries to enter without having to counterblockade in devoted installations. They include Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.
Singapore also allowed entry to further domestic workers on condition that they’re completely vaccinated before appearance to meet critical requirements of original homes.
It has also blazoned several new measures taken by themulti-ministry task force on Covid-19.
The adverts came after the task force said on Wednesday that the tighter checks presently in place- including confining group sizes for dining in to two people-will be extended for a month till November 21, 2021, the Woe Times reported. Among these, from Jan 1, 2022, only workers who are completely vaccinated, or have recovered from Covid-19 within the once 270 days, can return to the plant.
Unvaccinated workers won’t be allowed to return to the plant unless they’ve tested negative for Covid-19 before returning, and they will need to pay for the costs of these tests,”MOH said, as per the report.
Singapore tagged to start continuing and to shift from targeting zero cases once its vaccination rate outgunned 80. But infections started climbing soon after some checks were eased in August. The megacity- state this week decided to keep contagion restrictions in place for another month and advised the current surge could challenge its health- care system.
Back in India, a elderly civil aeronautics ministry functionary has indicated that the government is doubtful to lift the restrictions on transnational breakouts incontinently, saying current frequentness under air bubble arrangements are acceptable to meet the demand.
Slated transnational passenger breakouts to and from India remain suspended since March last time amid the coronavirus epidemic. India has air bubble arrangements with further than 25 countries for operating transnational breakouts.
