India tore into Pakistan after its overseas minister raised the problem of Jammu and Kashmir at a Security Council debate on women, peace and security, announcing it is “unworthy” to even reply to such “malicious and fake propaganda”.
Responding to Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari`s feedback on Jammu and Kashmir, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj on Tuesday termed his declaration as “baseless and politically influenced”.
“Before I conclude, allow me disregard the frivolous, baseless and politically influenced feedback made through the delegate of Pakistan concerning the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” she said. Speaking on the UN Security Council open debate on ‘Women, Peace and Security’, Ms Kamboj said: “my delegation considers it unworthy to even reply to such malicious and fake propaganda.”
“Rather, our recognition is wherein it shall continually be – wonderful and forward-looking. Today’s dialogue is severely vital to reinforce our collective efforts to boost up the entire implementation of the Women, Peace and Security agenda.
