New Delhi: Covid Vaccination Certificate can now be obtained through WhatsApp in seconds, the Ministry of Health Union has information on Sunday.
This is a significant step at certain times when some countries insist on vaccination certificates for travel between countries and many hosting companies only if they have evidence of vaccination. WhatsApp options have now provided an easier alternative person to get a certificate from the Cowin vaccination portal, which has experienced a disturbance on several occasions.
The Office of the Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya has said anyone who wants to download the certificate can send whatsapp messages to the number and accept it.

However, some people who tried the process said they got the wrong results. Some say certificates mention the same date for both doses. The others complained that they were told that they were not vaccinated even though they had received both doses.
The ministry’s latest steps also received praise words from crossing political hallways.
Senior Congress leader and Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor described the process as “simple and fast”.
