India, especially, has built the main infrastructure project in the country such as the India-Afghanistan Dam of India-Afghanistan in West Herat Province.
Zee Media: Has a Taliban cutting bonds with terror groups listed by the United Nations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed?
Taliban spokesman: We have clearly sent a message to everything we do not allow anyone to use the land of Afghanistan against other countries. We don’t have bond with them. About India, it is important for them to remain impartial in the affection of Afghanistan and not support the Moribund regime that kills its own people day and night with drones, aircraft attacks, and weapons received from abroad.
Does the Taliban and Indian talk or have some kind of engagement at any level? Every back channel communication between both, if yes, how?
Taliban spokesman: I cannot confirm a report on the Indian delegation meeting with IEA’s elderly. That hasn’t happened yet.
How you see Indian development projects, capacity building projects. Can you convince them that they will be protected? Recently 16 security personnel were killed in a Taliban attack near the Salma Dam at Herat?
Taliban spokesman: The protection of national projects such as the Dam is an IEA or the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan policies. We have announced this policy more than once. However, the assistance of Indian military hardware with Kabul which eventually ended up killing innocent Afghans was hostility with Afghans. This is a picture of India in the eyes of the Afghans and send hostile perceptions. For them to review their position.
India has said the advantages of the last 20 years, such as women’s rights, minority rights, Hindus rights, Sikh should not be affected? How do you see it, plus, will minority rights protected? Or do they have to run home to take refuge in India? A large number has come to India.
Taliban spokesman: We are committed to minority rights in Afghanistan and they have the same rights as other Afghanistan. Likewise, we recognize all the basic rights of women including access to education and work in the light of our Islamic rules. In addition, there are no security problems for every citizen of Afghanistan who intend to live a normal life in this country.
How do you see the current situation in Afghanistan with violence which is enhanced by Taliban fighters? Do you plan to make the Islamic Emirates in this country?
