The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has predicted “heavy rain to very heavy” on Monday in parts of North India, which continues to suffer from a tireless heatwave. IMD predictions are for Uttarakhand, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Capital National Delhi.
On Sunday, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius, three degrees during the season average while the minimum temperature was resolved at 28.8 degrees Celsius.
Previously, the IMD had stated that Southwest Monsoon would arrive in several parts of North India on July 10, but it did not happen until Sunday night.
“Heavy rain is likely to be in isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Gujarat Region, Maharashtra Madhya, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Coastal and South Interior of Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe And Mahe and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, “said IMD in the bulletin. The IMD has also issued a warning for several states in North India and a red warning for Maharashtra parts, which are strongly influenced by the impact of Tauke Typhoon in May.
Heavy rain is also expected in remote places over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Western Uttar, Rajasthan Timur, Sikkim, Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Madhya West Pradesh, Bihar, Lakshadweep, North Interior Karnataka, The North Weather Department Bulletin shows. From this, Andaman and the Nicobar Islands are likely to experience storm storms along with lightning and strong winds.
On Monday morning, lighting in isolated places also exceeded J & K, Ladakh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Assam, Puducherry, Nagaland, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, etc.
