The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear the request to find clues to the center to impose the President’s Government in West Bengal for alleged violent incidents after polls in the state.
The bench consisting of Justices Vineet Saran Suggestions and Dinesh Maheshwari issued a notification to the city center, West Bengal and Indian General Election Commission.
Plea submitted by Advocates Ranjana Agnihotri also looked for directions to spread armed paramilitary forces to bring normal in the country and established a special investigation team (sitting) to investigate the causes and reasons for violence after the poll in West Bengal.
Agnihotri, a lawyer who practices at Uttar Pradesh, has been in October last year applying at the Mathura Court who was looking for the elimination of Shahi Idgah Mosque – located near the Shri Krishna Temple complex – where he described himself as “next friend”. from Shri Krishna Lala Virajman. The court refused the request.
In Article 356 of the Constitution, the Presidential Government can be imposed in “Case of Constitutional Engine Failure in the State” if the President, by receiving a report from the Governor of State or vice versa, is satisfied that a situation has emerged where the state government cannot be done in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.
Advocacy Day Shankar Jain – Appears for Applicants Ranjana Agnihotri, a lawyer and social worker Jitender Singh – said that the request against violence after the poll in West Bengal.
The bench said, “We issued a notification to respondents number 1, (Union of India), number-2 respondents (West Bengal Government) and respondents number 3 (Indian General Election Commission).”
Bench, however, did not issue a notification to respondents number 4 – Mamata Banerjee as the President of the Trinamool Congress Party (TMC).
Plea submitted through Advocates Wisnu Shankar Jain said that pills had been submitted in extraordinary circumstances because thousands of West Bengal residents were punished, punished and tortured by TMC workers to support the opposition party – Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) during the assembly poll.
“The Petitioner supports the cause of thousands of West Bengal residents who are mostly Hindus and are targeted by Muslims to take revenge to support BJP because they want to destroy Hindus so that for years can remain with the party. Their choices,” said the request.
The request was sought from the court “directing the central government to use its strength invited by Article 355 and Article 356 by looking at the deteriorating conditions that pose a threat to Indian sovereignty and integrity”.
It was said that as soon as the declaration of assembly polls produced May 2, TMC workers and supporters began to create chaos, riots, and establish houses and the traits of burning Hindus, looting and looting their items for simple reasons that they have supported BJP in a pole Assembly opinion.
